Saved people serve people. God made you with special gifts, abilities, and talents. You have probably picked up a few extra along the way as well. Get started today in making a difference!
As a group of people growing together in Christ, we need a multitude of volunteers for many different roles. As a part of this community, you are more like family members who have different roles to serve, showing Christ’s love to one another. Currently, the following areas of ministry are in need of volunteers supporting this church family.
- Coffee and Donuts Crew: Help keep coffee and Donuts flowing on Sunday mornings.
- Impact Team – Help visitors feel welcome Sunday mornings on a rotational basis.
- Kids/Youth – As a church caring for its kids, we need nursery, Pre-K – Elementary teachers, Kids Worship helpers, and more. Helping kids grow up in Christ is a top priority at FBC and we need your help! Background checks required!
- Sunday School Teachers - Teaching the Bible is of high importance at FBC Marlin. Join us and choose a class you would like to teach.
- Worship Team – Love to sing, play an instrument, have skills with audio visual technology?
- Media Team – We need people to make Sundays and other events work. Examples are running a Running the sound system, taking pictures, etc.
- Facilities/Fix It Team – If you’re handy, we occasionally need assistance with minor repairs and maintenance.

How do I volunteer with kids?
We are grateful for the volunteers that God has sent to help us teach children about God’s greatness and worth, encourage them to glorify God, inspire them to live holy lives and challenge them to serve God joyfully.
We are looking for people who are passionate about teaching children about our great God. If you are one of these people, we welcome you to our team.
We do require that all volunteers go through a background check before working with our children.

How do I volunteer with music?
